finTag was born out of the founders’ firsthand experience as active members of investment clubs and SACCOs. Faced with the everyday challenges of tracking contributions, managing records, and maintaining transparency, they began developing simple, practical tools to support better financial management within their groups.

Through this journey, one insight became clear: member-led financial organizations thrive when transparency builds trust and accountability strengthens leadership.
